Fettle House - Rehabilitation Service
Although located within the grounds of Bodmin Hospital, Fettle House is set away from our other units in the hospital. This allows the residents to have more freedom and responsibility than if they were on a mental health inpatient unit, while also having access to specialist mental health support if needed.
Men and women live at Fettle House and all residents have their own en-suite bedrooms.
Residents receive help to develop skills in a variety of areas which may include personal care, domestic tasks, money management, leisure time, volunteering or returning to work and managing your mental health.
Fettle provides a homely environment with a shared kitchen, garden areas and a range of recreational activities. This service is designed allow a phased approach to discharge and/or some additional support. The aim is to help residents to return to their own home or move to a place outside a hospital where they will be able to live more independently with a lower level of support.
All referrals are made by a member of the Foundation Trust’s staff.
