Supported Housing

We have eight supported houses across Cornwall which provide accommodation to single people who have been diagnosed with an enduring mental illness.

Accommodation is available in a supported house for between 18 months and two years. Mental health clinicians staff will visit each of the houses but are not based there

Each house supports up to five tenants at any one time. Each resident has a single bedroom with a shared kitchen, bathroom, laundry facilities and internet access. Each room is furnished and bedding is provided too.

We support the recovery of each person and enable them to become independent. Near the end of the 18 months or two years, we work with the tenants to identify suitable accomodation. Our leaflet Supported Housing provides more information.

A care co-ordinator or a member of our staff can make referrals to the Supported Housing Service. Self referrals can also be made.
