Most people have a time in their lives when things become a struggle and they can get down or worry too much. Often this will get better on it’s own but that may take a long time or they might need some more help. Sometimes people find medication helpful but some people prefer to talk through these problems with people trained to help.
Be Me believes that people know when they need some help but recognise that it can be hard to take the first step. We are happy to talk through whether we would be right for you and we are equally happy for you to talk it through with your GP.
If you are interested in talking to Be Me you do not need to go through your GP and you can email, ring or write to us and we will deal with your queries in a prompt and friendly way.
Please look on the How to get help page. We are equally willing to accept referrals from your GP or other professionals.
Be Me has qualified Counsellors, CBT therapist and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners. We also have practitioners qualified in EMDR, Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Dynamic Therapy (DIT). Each practitioner has achieved accreditation by a national body or is working towards it following training.
Be Me is integrated with other physical and mental health services in Cornwall and will strive to achieve joined up care with other health providers wherever possible and if this is your preference.
